Who is Fitri Cerado?

Fitri Cerado is an 8- year old girl. When you first meet her, you would think that she is just another and happy kid. She was born in Indonesia on in November, 2003, to Filipino parents. Her mother and father were both working in Indonesia at the time she was born. She currently still lives and goes to school there. At an early age, Fitri showed interest in singing and music. She was only a toddler when she started to listen to Mozart and watch Indian music videos. When she was three, she started to learn singing from her father. She started a local music school, to take singing and piano lessons. She enjoyed performing from the beginning, and started performing. In 2011, she entered the Super Wani 2 competition, one of the popular talent show of JTV Indonesia. She was chosen one of the best of 5-600 contestants, and after the finals, when she had to beat 19 other contestants, she was awarded first place.

What is Special about Fitri Cerado?

The judges of the Super Wani 2 were amazed by Fitri’s fantastic voice, clear singing and range, as well as here well advanced singing techniques. She stunned them with the song Panggung Sandiwara, originally sang by the legendaryIndonesian singer Niky Astria. She did not only warm up the heart of the judges, but the viewers as well, and she reached the semi-final, where she sang a duet with legendary singer Ita Purnamasari, performing her famous song Cintaku Padamu.  Commentators were even more amazed, when they heard the vocal range next to an experienced and trained singer’s. The harmonies created were of two professional singers’, and some viewers could not believe that such a talent existed at an early age. Fitri won the competition, performing Adaikan Kau Datang Kembali by Ruth Sahanaya at the final, and she continues to sing and love music even more than before.

Fitri Cerado for Charity

Fitri Cerado decided to dedicate her music and talent to helping fellow children, who are less fortunate than she is. She was looking at ways to help, when she came across Razoo Foundation, working together with UNICEF to provide emotional and financial support for innocent children, who lost their parents, suffer from hunger, abuse, war or low living standards all around the world. Fitri is a religious child and believes that God is holding her hand on the way to succeed raising $5,000 for UNICEF through Razoo foundation and $2,000 by selling her music in her own charity store online which 100 percent of its proceeds will go straight to her supported local orphanage “NUR IMAN  Panti Asuhan” located in Jember  East java Indonesia.

The Story Behind the Charity Song

When Fitri visited the Jember Orphanage, she realized how lucky she was to have everything she needed and loving parents. Seeing fellow children made her realize that there is support needed, and as there are not enough funds to create a fun and supportive environment for all orphans, she decided to help. The center currently runs different charity programs, and takes care of over 45-50 children, who lost their parents or never knew them. Premature marriages and lack of financial support does make it difficult to raise children in Indonesia, and to allow all children to start with the same chances in life with good education opportunities, the Jember Orphanage is currently doing an extraordinary amount of work.

Fitri Cerado , a little girl who possesses  an angelic and powerful  voice, had already compiled dozens of outstanding achievements and memorable performances  at early young age of 6 .She loves to join any  contest like modeling , Photo, School academics and  any children contest in the area. ITunes Store Opens for Fitri Cerado’s Unicef Charity

Fitri Cerado, the 8-year old gospel singer currently living in Indonesia has launched her own ITunes store, to support children, less fortunate than herself. The winner of last year’s SuperWani2 is a real talent, and she has quickly become famous and popular after releasing her YouTube music videos online. She is devoted to music, as well as helping fellow children through Razoo Kids charity and UNICEF. The support she gets is turned into dollars helping people in Orphanages and those who are affected by war, illness or poverty.

ITunes Store for UNICEF Charity

The ITunes store is set up to allow users and fans to be able to download the gospel songs and other genres on their mobile devices easily, as well as share them on different computers. In order to be able to access the file, people will be asked to send a donation for the charity. The whole Christmas charity CD is still available, as well as the special songs, created for the Razoo and UNICEF Charity campaign. The charities support children in need; suffering from abuse, war and hunger. The proceeds of the site go to the  NUR IMAN  Panti Asuhan orphanage in Indonesia.

About Fitri Cerado’s Music

Fitri Cerado is not only an amazing singer, but she also has a big heart. She founded Fitri Cerado Charity to help fellow children in need, lacking food, clothing, education and care. Her music is truly unique, and she means every word she sings. Apart from religious gospel songs, she also likes trying herself in different genres; pop, rock, Indie, Pilipino and Indonesian music. She likes improving her voice, and she is also practicing every day, to learn new songs for entertaining her audience.

Fitri’s gospel songs featured on her Christmas charity album has warmed up the heart of many people around the world. Her own version of Silent Night and the Lord’s Prayer are perfect, unique and extremely moving. She used the Lord’s Prayer to promote her charity single, and it helped her make some children’s lives better. Fitri is a truly religious child, who believes that the talent God gave her can be turned into something useful and she can ease sufferings of innocent victims of neglect or war.

Fitri lives in Indonesia with her parents, but she is originally a Filipina girl. She loves Filipino music; both traditional and modern, and her taste of clothes expresses this love for her homeland. She also enjoys singing Indonesian genres and trying her voice in different songs. She is supported by many people in the Philippines, as well as Indonesia, after she last year won the TV talent show: SuperWani2. Since then, she has been around the country to promote her CD and the Fitri Cerado charity site, raise awareness of fellow children’s sufferings and get supporters from all over the world.
