Who is Fitri Cerado?

Fitri Cerado is an 8- year old girl. When you first meet her, you would think that she is just another and happy kid. She was born in Indonesia on in November, 2003, to Filipino parents. Her mother and father were both working in Indonesia at the time she was born. She currently still lives and goes to school there. At an early age, Fitri showed interest in singing and music. She was only a toddler when she started to listen to Mozart and watch Indian music videos. When she was three, she started to learn singing from her father. She started a local music school, to take singing and piano lessons. She enjoyed performing from the beginning, and started performing. In 2011, she entered the Super Wani 2 competition, one of the popular talent show of JTV Indonesia. She was chosen one of the best of 5-600 contestants, and after the finals, when she had to beat 19 other contestants, she was awarded first place. TNSNSR4J9X6G

What is Special about Fitri Cerado?

The judges of the Super Wani 2 were amazed by Fitri’s fantastic voice, clear singing and range, as well as here well advanced singing techniques. She stunned them with the song Panggung Sandiwara, originally sang by the legendaryIndonesian singer Niky Astria. She did not only warm up the heart of the judges, but the viewers as well, and she reached the semi-final, where she sang a duet with legendary singer Ita Purnamasari, performing her famous song Cintaku Padamu.  Commentators were even more amazed, when they heard the vocal range next to an experienced and trained singer’s. The harmonies created were of two professional singers’, and some viewers could not believe that such a talent existed at an early age. Fitri won the competition, performing Adaikan Kau Datang Kembali by Ruth Sahanaya at the final, and she continues to sing and love music even more than before.

What Fitri Cerado Does Differently?

Fitri Cerado received many great comments from professional judges and music experts. Ika Putri said: “My heart belongs to Ita Purnamasari but my idol now is Fitri”. Arik proclaimed:  “A new Super star was born and it was coming from East java Indonesia, Good luck to you Fitri!”

What is Fitri Cerado Working on Now?

Fitri is now working on  her first self-titled album, covering some of the most popular gospel and Christmas favorites to be released as a charity album before Christmas, 2011. The album will be  distributed in a physical CD /DVD format and via online MP3, digital downloads . The Christmas charity album will include Amazing grace, Our father/ I believe ,The Lord’s prayer, Ave Maria, Pie Jesu, Oh Holy Night, Silent Night, The First Noel , Auld lang syne, and Away in the Manger.
Although she decided to release the charity album to help her fellow children through Razoo Foundation and UNICEF, she continues to sing and practice, to improve her vocals. Apart from going to school, she spends a lot of time with her family, takes piano and singing lessons and learns new songs from different genres. She sings Celine Dion, Barbara Streisand, Celtic Woman, ,Charice Pempingco , Sarah Brightman , Jackie Evancho ,Agnes Monica , Regine Velasquez , Sarah Geronimo, Kotak , Ita Purnamasari and Niki Astria songs, as well as religious compositions. She loves performing at the local coffee shop, on TV and at different festivals. Her biggest dream is to become successful and be able to help children in need through her music and Razoo Foundation.
